Christ School’s homecourt advantage is not something to be taken for granted, especially when the timeframe is postseason basketball.
The 2021-22 season has been a return to form in many ways for the Greenies (14-10). Namely, the team has already won 11 more games than it did last winter, led by the all-conference play of Emanuel Richards ’23 (18.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.1 steals per game) and Anthony Robinson ’23 (9.5 ppg. and 9.4 rpg.).
Now that the NCISAA 4-A basketball playoffs have arrived, there is the chance to make even more headway.
Christ School has received the No. 8 seed and hosts Wake Christian Academy (8-20) on Tuesday at 6 p.m. With a win, the Greenies would return to Mebane Field House for Thursday’s second round against either North Raleigh Christian Academy (9-19) or Charlotte Country Day (15-14).
Tuesday’s game will be live-streamed by the Christ School Broadcast Network at this link.
