The situation and the stakes are simple: One game, winner-take-all.

Varsity soccer earned the right to play for the Carolinas Athletic Association championship by placing second in the regular-season standings – Christ School (9-5-0, 3-3-0) travels to Rabun Gap (14-2-0, 6-0-0) for a 4:30 p.m. CAA title game on Thursday.

The Eagles have gotten the better of the Greenies in two previous meetings, including a 9-0 rout last week in Georgia, but Thursday’s winner will be declared the CAA champ.

Goalkeeper Michael Mahoney ’20 is averaging seven saves per game.

After the trip to Rabun Gap, Christ School will travel to Raleigh for back-to-back games at North Raleigh Christian Academy (Friday) and Ravenscroft (Saturday). The Advancement Office is hosting a Raleigh Gathering on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Tobacco Road Café.
