Dean of Students Drew Hyche ’94 announced Friday that two boys new to the Christ School community, Vincent Lytle '24 and Wiley Kessler '25, are the first Students of the Month for the 2021-22 academic year.
The monthly awards are based off nominations from faculty members, who provide comments about each student’s worthiness.
Vincent Lytle ‘24
This young man takes a professional attitude towards his classwork without separating himself from his peers. In a recent class, his ability to understand the material spurred and led the class to a scintillating class-wide discussion. Always upbeat and courteous, sincere, and thoughtful. He seems to always have the time to pause and check in on how things are going. He gets along with everybody. His transition has been seamless to Christ School. A 10th grader from Winnipeg, Canada – Vincent Lytle
Wiley Kessler ‘25
This student has this infectious positivity about him. Easy to talk to and communicates well with others. He is kind and has a great sense of humor. Whether he’s cheering on his fellow Greenies at a game, cleaning the dorm or being dunked on by his dorm parents, he brings positive energy wherever he goes. Considerate to all and just an awesome young man. You would never know that he and his brother are Saints fans. A ninth grader from New Orleans – Wiley Kessler.
