Congratulations to William Hughes ’25 on his verbal commitment to run cross country and track for Sewanee: The University of the South.
William is from Charleston, S.C., and has continued to steadily lower his times as a member of the Greenie distance corps – he was one of the top-five runners this past cross country season with a personal-record of 17 minutes, 41.90 seconds. William was named the team’s Most Improved Runner as a junior.
He is a Proctor in Cuningham House, an AP Scholar, and part of the National Honor Society.
There are now 19 seniors from Christ School’s Class of 2025 who have committed or signed to play college sports.
