Global Studies Program Requirements

Global Studies Program Application 

• Submitted before the start of junior year

Required Courses 

• AP World History or AP Human Geography
• World Language through Level IV
• Senior Capstone Project
• Plus 2.5 credits from select electives

Extracurricular Requirements

• Travel and hosting experiences
• 15 volunteer service hours related to a global issue    
• Participation in a club with a global focus    
• Attendance at Global Studies meetings and discussion groups    
• Preparation for and participation in annual Global Day activities    
• A digital portfolio of reflections, academic work, and graphics    
• Summer reading assigned by the Global Studies Committee

Senior Capstone Project and Presentation

• Independently-driven research project, internship, service initiative or co-curricular program
• Formal presentation of Senior Capstone Project
