Lisa Darling

Previously serving as head of school at three different institutions (Wilmington Friends, United World College, and Awty International) means that Lisa Darling is suitably equipped and ready to be Interim Assistant Head of School for Christ School's 125th year. 

She stepped in last year as Interim Chief Financial Officer. 

Ms. Darling's professional career began in 1979 and has taken her to schools in Connecticut, Delaware, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Vermont. She was Director of the National Association of Independent Schools from 1996 to 2000 and is part of the board of trustees for two schools in Texas - Schlenker School and Dallas International School. 

Ms. Darling earned her B.A. in Religion from George Fox College in 1976 and then went on to receive master's degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary and the State University of New York. 

Ms. Darling will live on campus in Seitz House.
