Greenies Nominated for the 57th Annual Sports Awards Banquet
Each year, Western North Carolina recognizes the best performances by teams and individuals from the area at the WNC Sports Awards Banquet. On May 6th, 2018, a total of 118 athletes and teams from 28 WNC high schools will be honored as finalists for 22 awards and 15 scholarships at the 57th WNC Sports Awards Banquet presented by Ingles.

Merrill Lynch/Keller Ferrell Division II Male Athlete – Major Sport: Jalen Lecque, Basketball
Skyland Automotive Group Division II Male Team – Major Sport: Christ School Football
EmergeOrtho Blue Ridge Division/ Division II Male Team – Olympic Sport: Christ School Lacrosse
Young Transportation Division II Male Athlete of the Year: Jalen Lecque, Basketball
White & Williams Division II Male Athlete – Olympic Sport: Kevin Snyder, Track and Field
Winners will be chosen in 22 categories from the list of finalists and will be announced and honored at the banquet.
