SOPHOMORES:
- Challenge yourself with an academic schedule that is appropriate for you.
- Delve deeper into your extracurricular activities and consider assuming leadership positions.
- Take the PLAN and PSAT tests and review score results with your counselor.
- Schedule meetings to review test scores.
- Fill your summer with rewarding work, study, travel, and/or volunteer opportunities.
JUNIORS:
- Confer with your counselor on your testing plan, test prep needs and your academic schedule.
- Meet with your counselor to develop an initial list of schools commensurate with your academic profile and interests.
- Research schools on your preliminary list.
- Visit a variety of schools.
- Fill your summer with rewarding work, study, travel, and/or volunteer opportunities.
SENIORS:
- Confirm your final college list with your counselor and explore possible scholarship opportunities.
- Establish a timeline for completing the application process with your counselor and determine if and where you may want to apply Early Action or Early Decision.
- Complete all standardized testing.
- Budget your time wisely so that you may balance school with your college visits and assignments.
- Manage your college list and deadlines.
- Fill your summer with rewarding work, study, travel, and/or volunteer opportunities and get ready for college.
