SWANNANOA – Dawson Reeves ’24 had some intent in his eyes Wednesday, surging into the lead from the very beginning of the Carolinas Athletic Association Championship cross country meet.

Dawson won the conference meet four years ago as a freshman and never gave anyone else a chance as a senior.

Brendan Regan ’24 spoke earlier in the day about coming through when there is no margin for error.

His feet were doing the talking in the first round of the NCISAA 4-A state soccer playoffs.

Seven seniors went out as winners in the 2023 season’s only home meet Wednesday.

Mason Holtzclaw ’27 went over the 1,000-yard mark in passing for the second time in his high school career, and his first time as a Greenie, in last Friday’s 17-6 home loss to Charlotte Christian.

Christ School varsity soccer would have started every senior Tuesday if it were possible. The problem is only 11 players can be on the field.
