Up and down the lineup, Christ School varsity baseball couldn’t have hit the ball much better Monday in its start to the Florida League High School Invitational. Eight different Greenies managed hits in a 17-2 win over the Ace of Spades Sports (Fla.) team that lasted only 3 1/2 innings.

The U.S. Marine Corps is always on the lookout for well-rounded individuals with high character and conviction. The same can be said for the Marines’ Semper Fidelis All-American Program.

Out of thousands of nominations and applications, only 13 high school students from North Carolina were named All-American finalists, including a junior from Christ School.

Spring Break promises to be eventful for Christ School varsity baseball. Especially if Saturday’s 11-3 road win at Charlotte Country Day is a sign of things to come. 

Garrett Clapsaddle ‘21 went 3-for-3 with a home run, a pair of doubles, and matched teammates Isaiah Lowe ‘22 and Jack Galbraith ‘20 with three RBIs each. 

Christ School’s Class of 2020 has been so distinguished in the classroom and various athletic settings that it called for a third commitment ceremony Wednesday.

Christ School teams won a Carolinas Athletic Association conference championship in every spring sport, success that has been justly rewarded with the release of the Asheville Citizen-Times’ annual All-Western North Carolina teams.

The win gave Christ School their 11th victory on the season in just 13 tries.

On Saturday, the #5 Christ School baseball team traveled to #4 Charlotte Country Day to compete in the 3A NCISAA State Quarterfinals.

In their first playoff game, with Chad Treadway '19 on the mound, the Greenies bats felt comfortable they would get the job done.

After finishing 20-2 in the regular season, Varsity Baseball earned the #5 seed in the 3A NCISAA State Playoffs.

A day after a tight affair against Charlotte Country Day, Greenies baseball hosted a scrappy Asheville Christian Academy team on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, March 27, the Greenies, who were ranked #1 in the NCISAA by MaxPreps, hosted Charlotte Country Day School.

Last year the Greenies welcomed new baseball Head Coach Cody Geyer to the Christ School community. His push for hard work, determination, and max effort led the Greenies to win the conference and advance to the NCISAA State Quarterfinals, finishing the year 19-4.
