This weekend, four members of the Track and Field team traveled with Coach Cobb to the Penn Relays, the oldest and most prestigious track meet in the country, to compete in the 4x400m and the long jump.

Christ School junior Kevin Snyder '19 will represent the United States in an international track meet in May.

On April 13-14, 2018, the Christ School track team competed in the Bojangles Track and Field Classic. The Bojangles meet, held annually at Spring Valley High School in Columbia, SC, is the largest high school track meet in the Southeast, with 197 schools competing from 10 states and Barbados.

After starting the season 3-5 last year, Christ School soccer won 10 of its last 12 games before falling in a hotly-contested quarterfinal playoff match on the road to Cannon School. While the Greenies graduated Conference Player of the Year John Beard '18, a wealth of players are ready to step up. Leading the way are all-conference returners Corey Lavinder '19 and Thomas May '19 as well as Marcus Berger '19.

On Wednesday, the JV lacrosse team went down to Greensboro Day and came away with a 7-6 victory while also improving on the season (now 5-1).

Pumping iron at Christ School will never be the same. The new Athletic Complex is ready for use which means not only a hall of fame that celebrates 118 years of Greenie sports, a synthetic turf practice field and expanded locker rooms and coaches offices, but a weight room that is bigger and better than its predecessor in many ways.

This weekend saw two games against tough opponents for Christ School Lacrosse and CSBN's first ever live broadcast of Greenies Lacrosse.

The JV lacrosse team had a solid 7-1 victory against Hendersonville's varsity lacrosse team on Saturday.

On Wednesday, March 28th, the Buncombe County Track Championships were held at A.C. Reynolds High School. The County Championships served as the opening meet for the Greenies track squad. The boys squad finished 2nd in a field of 11 teams, with many outstanding performances.

Each year, Western North Carolina recognizes the best performances by teams and individuals from the area at the WNC Sports Awards Banquet. On May 6th, 2018, a total of 118 athletes and teams from 28 WNC high schools will be honored as finalists for 22 awards and 15 scholarships at the 57th WNC Sports Awards Banquet presented by Ingles.

A day after a tight affair against Charlotte Country Day, Greenies baseball hosted a scrappy Asheville Christian Academy team on Wednesday.

​Greenies coasted to an 8-1 win over ACA today. Led by senior doubles pair Stephen Saye '18 and William Rasco '18, Christ School swept the doubles and went on to win 5 of the 6 singles points.

On Tuesday, March 27, the Greenies, who were ranked #1 in the NCISAA by MaxPreps, hosted Charlotte Country Day School.

Christ School finished in 5th place out of 18 teams in the Tarheel Youth Golf Association North State Challenge this weekend.

Christ School is proud to announce Tommy Langford as our new Head Football Coach. Langford came to Christ School at the beginning of the 2017 season. He has assisted with the Quarterbacks and Linebackers and served as the Special Teams Coordinator and Strength and Conditioning coach.
